The entry gate to Beignet Fest is located at 4 Friederichs Ave., New Orleans, LA 70124. NOTE: Google lists the street name as Frederich’s
Parking:
There is plenty of parking throughout City Park free of charge. However, DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS. City Park Police will ticket or tow cars parked on the grass.
There is a pay-to-park option at the Deutsches Haus at 1700 Moss St, New Orleans, LA 70119 with a free shuttle to and from the main entrance to Beignet Fest. The shuttle is a courtesy of Gulf Coast Bank and will run from 10 am to 5 pm. If you miss the shuttle, have no fear, the parking lot is a walkable distance to the Beignet Fest entry gate.
Finally, you can park on city streets in the surrounding neighborhoods but please be mindful of parking regulations and signs.
Ridshare or Taxi:
Please direct your rideshare or taxi driver to the New Orleans Museum of Art at 1 Collins Diboll Cir, New Orleans, LA 70124 for drop-off. NO RIDESHARE OR TAXI WILL BE ABLE TO TRAVEL DOWN FRIEDRICHS STREET FOR DROP-OFF AT THE ENTRY GATE.
Canal Street Streetcar:
If you take the Streetcar (the red one, not the green one!) down Canal Street, stay on to the very end and you will get off at the grand entrance to New Orleans City Park. Walk through the Big Lakes walking track over to the Festival Grounds from there!
Bicycles:
There are bicycle racks at the entry gate or bicycles can be locked up along the gated perimeter of the Festival Grounds. It’s a beautiful ride through City Park, so we encourage anyone who would like to bicycle to do so!
