AUTISM SOCIETY OF GREATER NEW ORLEANS offers virtual support and social groups for the community.

Thanks to grants from the Tres Doux Foundation and the Hussman Foundation, ASGNO is hosting virtual programming throughout 2021.
NEW ORLEANS, 2021 — The Autism Society of Greater New Orleans (ASGNO) is pleased to
announce their Virtual Programming Schedule for 2021. These programs are funded by grants from the Tres Doux Foundation (https://beignetfest.com/the-cause-mission/) and the Hussman
Foundation (www.hussmanfoundation.org). The purpose of these programs is to support the
Autism community and offer a safe outlet for socialization amidst the global pandemic.
The groups being offered include 3 Parent & Caregiver Support Groups (one for Spanish-speaking individuals), a Sibling Support Group, a Young Child Play Group (ages 5 – 8), a Social Group for Pre-Teens (ages 9 – 12), and a Young Adult Social Group (ages 18+). Teens (ages 13 – 17) are welcome to join the Online Teen Time Hangouts with the Autism Society of Cincinnati.

Interested parties can register at www.asgno.org/virtualprograms. Groups will begin meeting
February 9, 2021. THE AUTISM SOCIETY OF GREATER NEW ORLEANS is an affiliate of the National Autism Society that provides support to families living in Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. James, and St. Tammany Parishes. Their Mission is to improve the lives of all affected by autism.
