New Orleans, LA (Feb. 12, 2025) – The 2025 Beignet Fest is set for Saturday, Nov. 15 at New Orleans City Park. Celebrating its eighth year, Beignet Fest has become a staple in the fall festival calendar in Louisiana, earning recognition by national, regional and local press, as well as notable social media influencers.

Beignet Fest celebrates the iconic beignet in an array of imaginative dishes topped – stuffed, sandwiched and more. Standout favorites include crabmeat beignets, praline-stuffed beignets, fried chicken and beignets, bananas foster beignets, cheese and seafood-filled beignets, and more. In recent years, new food vendors have featured options such as plantains and mochi beignets, alfajores, and empanadas. Fest goers also have a chance to enjoy popular local favorites like jambalaya, gumbo, po-boys and more.

WHAT:  Beignet Fest is a food festival in New Orleans, Louisiana that features a host of different food vendors, live musical performances, a coffee café, beer garden, artist market and an interactive, sensory-friendly kids village.

WHY:  Beignet Fest, created to celebrate the iconic beignet, has a charitable mission; proceeds benefit the local autism community.

Beignet Fest Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that works year-round to celebrate, embrace and empower the lives of children with autism and their families. With proceeds from the 2024 Beignet Fest and support from sponsors and donors, Beignet Fest Foundation will launch a new inclusive summer camp in 2025, make grants to other nonprofits that serve autistic youth, and provides its Sensory Activation Vehicle (SAV) at a number of events in Greater New Orleans.
